We want to give you some tips to avoid rejection, based on regulations that have had the most deviations.
- Poultry farmers: At least once every 12 months (365 days), perform a drinking water inspection in accordance with the HOSOWO scheme (Regulation F15). This inspection must be performed by the veterinarian with whom the poultry farmer has an IKB agreement, or by a recognised HOSOWO authority. Good drinking water is crucial for healthy animals and safe products.
- Broiler farmers: Do not forget to inform the relevant loading team in writing and within 4 days after delivery, of the percentage of injuries (Regulation VC16). It is important that all results, both good and bad, are reported. The respective loading crew can use this data to improve the process of catching and loading.
- Poultry farmers: Every year (365 days), all IKB Kip participants with a poultry farm must complete the hygiene scan (Regulation J20). At the end of the scan, points of attention are suggested that you can use to improve company hygiene. Click here to download the hygiene scan.
